LESS than a month ago, Wrestling Federation of India suspended and dropped woman wrestler Neha Sangwan from the Senior World Championships squad for being overweight.
LESS than a month ago, Wrestling Federation of India suspended and dropped woman wrestler Neha Sangwan from the Senior World Championships squad for being overweight. She was found overweight by 700 grams ahead of her bout against Ella Marie Finding of Canada at the U20 World Championships in August. India went unrepresented in the 59kg at the event even as the WFI replaced Neha with Sarika Malik for the ongoing senior World Championships.
