'We'll cross that bridge': EAM on US 500% tariff threat for Russia biz ties

EXTERNAL Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said India has conveyed its concerns to US Senator Lindsey Graham regarding his proposed legislation that seeks to impose a 500 per cent tariff on countries buying oil and other resources from Russia.
"Regarding Senator Lindsey Graham's bill, any development which is happening in the US Congress is of interest to us if it impacts our interest or could impact our interest. So, we have been in touch with Senator Graham," Jaishankar told the media in Washington on Wednesday.
