Wanted criminal and aide nabbed after encounter

A wanted criminal and close associate of a Delhi-based gangster was arrested after an encounter in Ghaziabad early Saturday, police said.
The accused, identified as Kailash from Agroula village in Loni, was allegedly extorting money from sand mining contractors on behalf of jailed gangster Deepak. He sustained a bullet injury in one leg during the exchange of fire.
