SC Declines to Halt Release of 'Udaipur Files', Refuses Relief to Murder Accused

The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined urgent listing of a plea by Mohammed Javed, one of the accused in the 2022 murder case of Udaipur-based tailor Kanhaiya Lal Teli, while refusing to stay the release of the movie 'Udaipur Files' based on brutal killing.
Javed had filed a writ petition in the apex court, seeking fair trial and a stay on the release of the film 'Udaipur Files Kanhaiya Lal Tailor Murder', scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025.
