No word on INDIA bloc seat share, RJD releases list of 46 candidates
The Morning Standard

CONFUSION reigns in Bihar's Opposition INDIA bloc as Congress and its allies field candidates for the same seats in several constituencies, even as parties announce their lists for the upcoming assembly elections.
A day after Congress released its list of 48 candidates, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), a key ally, named candidates for 46 constituencies. However, there has been no official declaration of seat-sharing among the Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance partners.
The deadline for filing nominations for the first phase of voting, scheduled on November 6, ended on Friday. Talks were still underway within the INDIA bloc constituents to decide who would contest which seat.
"The party symbols have been allotted to 46 candidates following an understanding between senior leaders of Congress and RJD," said RJD spokesperson Chitranjan Gagan.
