'Loyal leaders must get preference in ticket distribution'

STATING that the State BJP has suffered 'irreparable loss' due to its alliance in the past, BJP leaders from the State have urged their party national leadership to allot maximum seats to its party men who are serving from long period and not to those who favour the TDP.
Several party leaders including state BJP vice-presidents and others have shot off a letter to the party's national president JP Nadda through the state unit resenting the manner in which candidates are being selected to contest the coming elections.
It may be recalled that leaders like former MPs CM Ramesh and Y Satyanarayana Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) and also former State minister C Adinarayana Reddy are named as the front-runners for contesting the coming elections. All of them joined the BJP after the TDP lost power in 2019 elections.
