The Morning Standard
|July 25, 2025
BIHAR CM Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) on Thursday issued a show-cause notice to its MP Giridhari Yadav for his remark on the ongoing special intensive revision of the electoral rolls in the state by contending that it "inadvertently lent credibility to the baseless and politically motivated allegations made by the Opposition".
The party has sought Yadav's reply to the notice within 15 days, viewing his conduct as a lapse in discipline and not in consonance with its position on SIR.
