HDB Makes Stellar Debut, Becomes 8th Most Valuable NBFC with ₹70K Cr M-Cap

HDB Financial Services, non-banking lending arm of HDFC Bank, on Wednesday made a stellar market debut on Wednesday despite a bleeding market, emerging as the eighth most valuable NBFC.
The company's shares listed at a 13% premium over issue price of ₹740.
The stock opened at ₹840 and had touched a high of ₹851.40 before closing at ₹840.90, up 13.55% on the NSE, valuing the firm at ₹69,625 crore at close. The broader market bled through the day and closed with 0.35% loss each after losing close to 1% intra-day.
