IT was a fruitful day for the Indian doubles pairs as Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Vijay Sundar Prashanth and the duo of Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni, the defending champions, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Chennai Open ATP Challenger played at the SDAT Tennis Stadium, Nungambakkam here on Wednesday.

Nedunchezhiyan and Prashanth, who had won the ATP Hangzhou Open last September, came back from the brink of defeat to overcome the wildcard pair of Chirag Duhan and Dev Javia (also from India).
