Minister's name surfaced in chargesheet over his links with Vijay Nair, AAP's erstwhile communication chief

THE Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday interrogated Minister Kailash Gahlot in connection with the money-laundering case linked to the nowscrapped excise policy. Gahlot, who was quizzed for nearly five hours at the ED headquarters, told the media that he cooperated with the agency and will continue to do so.
Sources said Gahlot was quizzed about the formulation of excise policy 2021-22 as he was part of the Group of Ministers, besides former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia and former urban development minister Satyendar Jain. This was the second summons issued to the minister as he could not appear last month owing to the Budget session.
