Data should remain within India: Akash Ambani

RELIANCE Jio chairman Akash Ambani urged the government to expedite the process of updating the 2020 draft of the Data Centre Policy so that Indian data remains within the country.
Speaking at the India Mobile Congress 2024, Ambani also noted that Indian mobile companies, along with the thriving ecosystem, are positioned to offer solutions to the rest of the world, including developed countries.
