Cong, AAP name more candidates

HARYANA POLLS: Grand old party lists 40 candidates, while AAP announces 41 nominees
THE Congress announced its third list of 40 candidates for the upcoming Haryana assembly polls late on Wednesday night. In total, the party has named 81 candidates for the 90-member assembly.
AAP too announced 41 candidates in three lists released in the course of the day, while BJP named three candidates.
The Congress has fielded Aditya Surjewala, son of AICC general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala, from Kaithal constituency. Aditya, after being active in Kaithal for a year, is making his political debut.
Former deputy chief minister Chander Mohan has been fielded from Panchkula, while former Haryana minister and four-time Congress MLA Nirmal Singh has been given ticket from Ambala (City).
As per the list, Vikas Saharan will contest from Kalayat, Pooja Chaudhary from Mullana, Raman Tyagi from Yamunanagar, Balwan Singh from Fatehabad, Chander Parkash from Adampur, Ram Niwas Rara from Hisar, Gokul Setia from Sirsa, Karan Dalal from Palwal, Sombir Singh from Badhra and Rao Narinder Singh from Narnaul.
