PHEW! It seems we can breathe easy.
The 28-point peace plan for Ukraine announced by President Trump - which seemed to heavily favour Russia was not intended as a final answer but the start of a negotiating process.
Fresh talks on the future of the war in Ukraine are under way, according to the BBC - with delegations from the US, Ukraine, and its European allies holding discussions in Geneva.
Ukraine's President Zelenskiy says "diplomacy has been activated", and he hopes meetings will be constructive. The talks come after Western leaders criticised Trump's 28-point peace plan, which was at first considered by many to be unduly favourable to Russia.
They at first included US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who described it as a Russian "wish list".
