Tracing the roots of anger and taking control of your emotions
The Mercury
|December 04, 2025
THE anger you are experiencing (the episode at the grocery shop, the outburst at the bank, the conflict you have every time you see your daughter, that flareup over a parking space at the mall) probably did not start today.
If you allow yourself to sit a while, hold the feeling, breathe deeply, and calm down, you will almost certainly be able to trace your history with this destructive emotion that plays its part in your life story.
Take time.
Care for yourself. Stop blaming things and people “outside you” for what is inside you.
