SOUTH Africa will not feature on the 2026 Formula One calendar, as organisers unveiled a revised schedule that includes a new race in Madrid, making Spain the only country to host two Grands Prix.

The season promises major changes both on and off the track, with new teams joining the grid and fresh regulations set to transform the sport.

Next year's campaign will open for the second successive season in Australia at Melbourne's Albert Park street circuit on Friday, March 6.

The race in the Spanish capital, Madrid, is scheduled for weekend of September 11 and will bring the curtain down on the European segment of the season. The new Madrid circuit will include both street and non-street sectors.
