KZN man speaks out after being cleared of Olorato Mongale's murder

FEZILE Ngubane, the KwaZulu-Natal man who was arrested for the gruesome murder of Olorato Mongale but was later released, says he has never laid his hand on a woman.
Mongale, a 30-year-old former Wits student, was killed after going on a date last Sunday in Johannesburg. Last week police named three suspects linked to the killing as Ngubane, Philangenkosi Sibongokuhle Makhanya and Bongani Mthimkhulu. On Friday, Makhanya shot at police, who returned fire and killed him at a residential complex in eManzimtoti, while Ngubane was cleared in the investigation after police established that he had also been a victim of Makhanya and Mthimkhulu, who is at large.
Ngubane's father handed him over to the KwaMashu police station after learning that his son was sought in connection with the murder case.
