DURBAN will celebrate Heritage Day with a major music event featuring Sjava, Big Zulu, and Lwah Ndlunkulu at the Old Mutual Music at the Lake concert in the Durban Botanic Gardens.
The show, taking place on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, will bring together three of KwaZulu-Natal’s most successful artists, each with a strong following and a reputation for shaping South Africa's contemporary music scene.
Sjava has built a career blending Afro-soul and hip-hop, earning both local and international acclaim for what organisers described as his “raw and authentic sound” Big Zulu, best known for hits such as Imali Eningi, has become a prominent voice in South African rap, while Lwah Ndlunkulu’s rising popularity has made her one of the most recognised new Afro-pop voices.
