For those who like a bit of a playground, the Cause in Canning Town is offering one hell of a NYE bonanza, spanning 16 hours and seven dancefloors.

Out for the night NYE clubs you really shouldn't miss...

XXXLarge Day & Night Festival The Cause

The lineup is stacked, with big names like Special Request and Young Marco, above, taking over the decks, as well as exciting some back to backs, including a four-hour set from Francesco Del Garda and Sonja Moonear. On top of all that, there will also be live performances from Factory Floor and Paranoid London. Plus, my favourite part, a covered and heated courtyard, for those who want to smoke, vape, dance and feel the cool air on their sweaty skin. December 31

HAAI 10-hour set

Phonox

If you're looking for one DJ to carry you through the entirety of New Year's Eve, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option than HAAi in Brixton. A former Phonox resident, she's collaborated with the likes of Romy, Fred Again and Jon Hopkins, and her DJ sets have become well known as the hottest place to be at any electronic music festival. White water rafting

Lee Valley

New year, new you? Why not try any number of off-kilter London activities in 2026. Kick things off with a spot of white water rafting at Lee Valley White Water Centre. It's the same stretch used for the 2012 Olympics. Not cheap at £450 per raft, but they seat up to nine people so cost can be shared. better.org.uk
