Inside the mind-bending new show that knocked Joe Rogan off the top of the podcast charts

An investigation into telepathic children is wowing the audiosphere. So what's it all about?
A new podcast recently shot to the top of the charts called The Telepathy Tapes. Its central claim is that non-verbal autistic children have a superpower: they are able to read minds.
The series is presented by filmmaker Ky Dickens, who became interested in telepathy after listening to another podcast. Over the course of 10 episodes she interviews dozens of parents who say that their non-verbal child often knows what they are thinking and feeling.
"Telepathy in non-speakers knows absolutely no bounds," Dickens claims at one point. She presents the listener with anecdotal evidence about the range of superpowers non-verbal children are capable of: they can see into the future, talk to spirits, visit heaven and communicate with people by entering and controlling their dreams.
These claims may sound outlandish, but Dickens reassures us that she is no tinfoil hat quack. "There is not an inch of me that's a conspiracy theorist," she says. In fact she is a self-professed "science nerd".
