Yacht crew member rescued by lifeboat

RESCUERS were called to a medical emergency aboard a sailing vessel anchored off the Northumberland coast.

Seahouses RNLI lifeboat received reports that a young member of the crew had taken ill and required urgent medical attention, at around 10pm on August 27.
The lifeboat arrived at the 23-metre vessel, which was located just south of Holy Island, and transferred one of their trained crew members across to assess the casualty’s condition.
