United trio on radar for promoted Leeds

Newcastle No1 Nick Pope is reportedly a target for Leeds United as they look to strengthen the spine of their team in the summer transfer window ahead of life in the Premier League.
The Whites are keen on signing the experienced Magpies shot-stopper, who is out of contract at the end of next season, while United have reportedly identified Burnley star James Trafford as a long-term replacement.
Pope joined Newcastle from the Clarets in the summer of 2022. He immediately established himself as United's first-choice shot-stopper, displacing the long-serving Martin Dubravka. The England international is approaching 100 appearances for the Magpies, and played a big part in Newcastle winning the Carabao Cup and securing Champions League qualification this term.
