Trio ink first pro contracts with Magpies

NEWCASTLE United have handed first professional contracts to teenage trio Joe Brayson, Luke Craggs and Logan Watts.

The youngsters have put pen to paper on full-time deals after progressing through the club's youth set-up.
Brayson follows in the footsteps of his dad Paul who was a highly-rated youth striker at Newcastle in the 1990s and made a first-team start under Kevin Keegan before playing for Reading, Cardiff City and Cheltenham Town. and having a stellar non-league career.
Joe Brayson, who joined Newcastle's youth set-up in 2015, is also a forward. He finished the season as the top goalscorer at under-18 level with 10 goals and six assists, as well as scoring three times in the Premier League 2 for the Magpies' Under-21s side.
