NEWCASTLE United take on Tottenham Hotspur tonight on the back of goalkeeping storms for both clubs as Eddie Howe warned frustrated fans not to step out of line with abuse.
Howe has issued a staunch defence of Nick Pope after the goalkeeper came in for intense criticism after his blunder in Marseille.
The head coach was spared the decision of axing Pope at Everton after the England international was hurt in training on Friday.
With Aaron Ramsdale set to start against Spurs, the visitors go into the game on the back of a goalkeeping storm of their own after Guglielmo Vicario was subjected to abuse for an error against Fulham in the 2-1 loss on Saturday night.
