NEWCASTLE lost regular wickets at home to Burnopfield, but Bobby Green made 37 and Tom Fletcher 55 to get them up to 185 all out.

Jonny Bushnell claimed 3-34 and Matthew Oswell 3-28.
The visitors made an unsteady start, losing three wickets for 32 runs, further reduced to 85-6 with Joshua Stirling claiming 3-24. Joseph Stuart took 4-31 and Burnopfield were all out for 117 as the hosts recorded an important 68-run win.
Chester-le-Street were asked to bat first at Shotley Bridge and made a good start to the game. Jacob McCann made 69 and Matthew Cranston 42, in an opening stand of 93.
Andrew Smith then hit 40, with James Thompson firing 62 not out and Callum Gaffney 38 in their total of 285-5 declared.
