Speeding drink-driver forced car to mount path
The Journal
|October 29, 2025
A DRINK-DRIVER forced an oncoming car on to a footpath and flouted the speed limits as he took police on a dangerous pursuit on narrow residential streets.

Danny Robinson
Danny Robinson also drove on the wrong side of the road, failed to slow for speed bumps and didn’t give way at junctions in the prolonged pursuit in Blyth.
Dash cam footage showed the 33-year-old clocked speeds of 65mph in 30mph zones before he finally gave up and came to a stop, prosecutors said. He was arrested at the scene and later failed a roadside breath test.
