Spa and more bedrooms plan for wedding venue

A POPULAR Northumberland wedding venue could soon be expanded with the creation of a new spa and garden bedrooms.
Ellingham Hall in Chathill, which was built in the late 1890s, has played host to weddings, parties and corporate events for almost 20 years and its managers have been voted the UK's Best Wedding Events Team 2024 at the Wedding Industry Awards.
However, the owners are keen to expand the grand hall's offering by adding more bedrooms for guests as well as a luxury spa - a feature it says would prove popular to local residents in the area as well as guests.
Additional income is also being sought through the creation of five new houses on its land, as well as additional car parking.
