NEWCASTLE law firm Sintons LLP is toasting rising revenues and expansion of its team as its turnover tops £19m.

Sintons law firm toasts year of record revenues

The company, based at The Cube on Barrack Road, has published accounts covering the year ended March 2025 in which revenues rose 6.5% from £18.1m to £19.3m, while operating profit was flat at £6.6m.

Employee numbers during the year rose from an average of 163 to 180, while the year also saw the firm complete a full refurbishment of its flagship offices at a total cost exceeding £2m.

Sharing in the firm's continued success, all colleagues benefited from a turnover-based bonus for the fourth consecutive year under Sinton's bonus scheme. Total headcount now stands at 216, with further recruitment taking place since the year end.

The firm said the increase in turnover was strong across all areas of the firm's business with particular growth in the commercial areas, including its corporate team (42%), dispute resolution team (16%) and commercial real estate team (9%).
