Shearer confident of a Champions League spot with run-in

NEWCASTLE legend Alan Shearer insists he wouldn't swap United's run-in with any of their Champions League rivals as the race for a top-five place enters the final straight.

United picked up what could be a valuable point in a 1-1 draw at Brighton thanks to Alexander Isak's late penalty, but saw Chelsea and Aston Villa close the gap after wins over Liverpool and Fulham respectively. United's fate is still very much in their own hands, with a huge clash against Chelsea on Sunday at St James' Park.
