TWO of the North East's biggest stars are in the running for the Brit Awards 2026.
Jade - from South Shields - will battle it out with Sam Fender - from North Shields ~ for one of the biggest trophies of the night, Artist of the Year.
‘The biggest night in British music is making the switch from London to Manchester for 2026, with the ceremony taking place at the Coop Arena on February 28.
Ithas been another big year for the UK music industry and for the North as a whole, with the Brits’ move to Manchester coming after Newcastle hosted both the MOBOS and Mercury Prize in the past 12 months.
