Operator confirms changes to train services

CROSSCOUNTRY is to make changes to its train timetable in December, with Newcastle Central Station set to be boosted with additional services.

The changes will be brought into effect from December 14, as part of the rail industry's twice-yearly timetable review.
The additional services will be between Reading and Newcastle, as the train operators that use the key East Coast Main Line corridor, which spans 393 miles between London and Edinburgh, make major industry-wide changes to their timetables.
