Newcastle have ‘let down’ Howe according to former England international and he should take Three Lions job

JAMIE Carragher has accused Newcastle United of ‘letting down’ Eddie Howe and thinks he should consider the England job if Thomas Tuchel leaves in the summer.
Newcastle's winless run on the road in the Premier League stretched to nine matches after they were beaten 3-1 by Brentford on Sunday afternoon.
The Magpies took the lead away from home when Harvey Barnes scored his 50th Premier League goal, but for the second week running, Howe's side then fell apart.
Kevin Schade equalised before Igor Thiago scored twice, while Dan Burn was also sent off after being shown a second yellow card 17 minutes from time. But despite Newcastle's struggles on the road, the Journal understands Howe will get plenty of time to improve his side's form, and the only concern for Yasir Al-Rumayyan and PIF is to offer support to Howe and his staff.
