Messages of love for Layton
The Journal

MORE touching tributes have been left at the entrance of an industrial estate in memory of a teenager who died at the site on Friday.
Flowers, balloons, teddies and emotional messages line the gates of Fairfield industrial park in Bill Quay, Gateshead, after a body, believed to be that of 14-year-old Layton Carr, was found inside a building following a fire at the site at around 8pm on Friday.
Layton’s heartbroken family has paid tribute to their ‘kind, caring and loving boy’.
They said: "He was a family boy that loved his mam and sisters more than anything in the world.
"Layton, we love you more than any words can ever explain. You will be missed more than you'll ever know. Our bright and beautiful boy."
People have been visiting the area to also pay tribute to the schoolboy.
Among the many tributes was a moving message from Layton’s older sister, which reads: "Fly high Layton, I miss you so so much. Can't believe you're gone forever and always baby brother. I will look up at the sky and think about you. I love you so so much Layton, forever and always, your big sister."
