WORKS to deter “dogging” at a Northumberland hotspot is expected to start in the coming days.

Northumberland County Council is preparing to carry out roadwork improvements at Arcot Lane, Cramlington.

It comes after concerns were raised about people engaging in group sex acts in broad daylight.

The concerns came to light after plans to build a new crematorium in the area were approved.
