Man took his own life a day after his arrest

A man took his own life at Chester-le-Street station a day after he had been arrested, an inquest has heard.

Crook Coroners' Court heard that James Hewtison, 27, who lived in Washington at the time of his death on November 25, 2024, was struck by a train, suffering multiple injuries.
