Man appears in court over crash that killed mum

A NORTHUMBERLAND man has appeared at court facing charges in connection with the death of a "beautiful" mum who was killed in a crash on the A19.

Ryan Scott made his first appearance in court on Tuesday morning.The 28-year-old, of Chasedale Crescent, Blyth, is charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death while uninsured and failing to stop following a collision. He appeared at South East Northumberland Magistrates' Court on Tuesday and was not required to enter pleas.
