Magpies boss looking for at least performances

EDDIE Howe will tell the team he picks against Bradford City on Carabao Cup third round night that he wants to see at least 8/10 performance levels.

The League One minnows head to St James' Park to provide the first test of Newcastle's cup defence after lifting the trophy back in March when Liverpool were beaten at Wembley.

Howe hinted he will go strong with his lineup and spoke about the Bantams in the same breath as Arsenal, who are the next Premier League visitors to St James’ Park.
