Jobs at risk as car park falls into administration

A CAR park operator with a major presence in Newcastle has fallen into administration, with 682 jobs now at risk.
NCP operates several locations in the region, one of which is the John Dobson Street car park, which is one of the largest in the city centre, with over 500 spaces.
The company has around 340 car parks across the country, and cites 'struggling to fill spaces since Covid 19 and grappling with financial losses' as contributing factors.
All sites will remain open as normal, with staff remaining in position while administrators from PwC consider the businesses' options.
