Isak called out on lack of respect
The Journal
|August 14, 2025
NICKY Butt believes Alexander Isak's “disrespectful” conduct at Newcastle United ought to serve as a “red flag” for Liverpool.
The Swedish forward has made clear he now sees his future elsewhere, and Liverpool is the club the striker wishes to join.
While the Reds saw an initial bid of £110m quickly rejected by Newcastle, it is understood they could eventually table a renewed offer this month - but only if the Magpies’ position shifts.
Newcastle are unwilling to allow Isak to depart unless their £150m valuation of the player is satisfied and they are capable of securing a proper replacement.
