Funds will help to future-proof our museums

TWELVE museums across the North East are set to benefit from over £400,000 in government funding.

It is hoped the cash will ensure the museums can adapt and secure their position for future generations.
North East Museums, formally known as Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums, has received £438,300 from the Museums Renewal Fund.
The organisation states the cash injection will help to meet the costs of all 12 of its facilities and new ticketing stems to meet demand for bookable events.
