Fentimans savours taste of success with award

SOFT drinks maker Fentiman’s has scooped a top award, decided by MPs.

The Northumberland-based maker of botanically-brewed drinks was crowned the North East’s Food and Drink Manufacturer of the Year in the Food and Drink Federation's inaugural MP’s Choice Awards.

‘The £35m turnover firm is in the constituency of Hexham MP Joe Morris who nominated it for the award that recognises outstanding small and medium-sized food and drink manufacturers that demonstrate excellence in innovation, sustainability, workforce development, wellbeing, and community engagement.

Mr Morris said: “I’m proud to see Fentimans recognised as regional winner in the Food and Drink Manufacturer of the Year Awards.

“Their dedication to quality, sustainability and community impact makes them a true asset to our local economy.
