Family's tribute to 'amazing grandma'

TRIBUTES have been paid to a “beautiful and intelligent” grandmother who died after being struck by an electric motorcycle.
Gloria Stephenson, 86, is understood to have been using a zebra crossing when she was struck by a black Sur-Ron electric motorcycle in Sunderland shortly before 1pm on Friday, May 16.
Police, paramedics and the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) attended the scene of the incident, which happened on the B1286 Burdon Road in Sunderland, near to the junction with Lidcombe Close. However, Gloria, from the Silksworth area, sadly passed away at the scene.
Now Gloria's family have shared a heartfelt tribute to the “amazing” mam, grandma, mother-in-law and great grandma who was “full of life”.
