Ex-police officer lied over absence

A FORMER police officer has been found guilty of gross misconduct after failing to report for duty and lying to cover his tracks.
-
PC Jamie Peacock, who worked for Northumbria Police, was found to have tried to get time off work, which he knew he was not entitled to, failed to inform his supervisor of his absence then repeatedly lied and falsified evidence.
