Elanga: Anything is possible with United

ANTHONY Elanga has lifted the lid on his discussions with head coach Eddie Howe earlier this summer.
The Sweden star swapped Nottingham Forest's ambitious project under Nuno Espirito Santo to work with the man who finally ended Newcastle's 70-year domestic trophy drought.
And while much has been made of United's lack of transfer activity this summer, Elanga, pictured right, is a signing that was celebrated by supporters once it was confirmed that his £55m arrival had been rubber-stamped.
Elanga, meeting the media over a Zoom call from Austria, referenced Newcastle's Carabao Cup win as the first of many and even built up talk of a title challenge during his years on Tyneside.
