Eddie's call turns out to be the right one in thrilling win

Harvey Barnes celebrates his late winner. Inset, Anthony Gordon

United came from behind three times at St James' Park to beat Leeds United 4-3 in one of the most dramatic Premier League matches of all time.Harvey Barnes' stoppage-time winner lifted the roof off St James' Park to secure a third successive win for Newcastle to move them up to sixth in the Premier League table.

Brenden Aaronson scored twice for the visitors and Dominic Calvert-Lewin swept home a penalty but a Bruno Guimaraes spot-kick, a brace from Barnes and a goal from Joelinton secured what could well prove to be a huge win in the context of Newcastle's season.

Here are five things we learned from a huge win at St James' Park.

Howe's admission in his pre-match press conference that when Barnes and Anthony Gordon play in the same side Gordon doesn't want to play on the right-hand side caused a bit of a stir.

But Newcastle are demonstrably a better team with Barnes on the right and Gordon on the left and that paid off handsomely in Wednesday's win.
