Earth moves in at Abbey belltower

A GIANT earth has arrived at Hexham Abbey, with the sculpture set to hang from the ancient building's bell tower for the next six weeks.
-
Gaia is a six-metre sculpture of the earth using NASA imagery of its surface, created by artist Luke Jerram.
Hexham Abbey will be in its new temprorary home until November 16 and visitors are already being captivated by the exhibition.
