Captain keeps low profile - and it works

NEWCASTLE United skipper Bruno Guimaraes has led the Magpies out as captain 35 times this season in what can be deemed a successful first campaign with the armband.
The team captain has not only led the Magpies to their first piece of silverware since 1969 but could yet become the first skipper to guide Newcastle to second spot since 1997 when Peter Beardsley was club captain. Back then, a crushing 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest secured runners-up spot as Newcastle pipped Arsenal to second place, meaning history could yet repeat itself.
