Burnley manager Parker hails ‘top performance’

BURNLEY manager Scott Parker insists his side put in a ‘top performance’ against Newcastle United on Saturday, after seeing his 10-men battlers come incredibly close to snatching a draw.
Eddie Howe's side looked to be cruising to victory when Bruno Guimaraes scored direct from a corner and Anthony Gordon converted a penalty in first-half stoppage time either side of Lucas Pires’ red card for a trip on Anthony Elanga.
