GEORDIE actor Kim Tserkezie and Gosforth-based comedian Lee Ridley are among the famous names calling for planned changes to Personal Independence Payments (PIP) to be abandoned.

Both the actor who starred as Penny Pocket in children's TV programme Balamory and now has her own production company and the Britain's Got Talent-winning comedian known as Lost Voice Guy have joined hundreds in calling for cuts to PIP and the health component of Universal Credit to be stopped.
