Parliament moves to fill vacancy in OMP

Parliament has called applications for appointment to the post of Member of the Office on Missing Persons (OMP).

According to a statement issued by parliament yesterday (30) in terms of the Office on Missing Persons (Establishment, Administration and Discharge of Functions) Act, No. 14 of 2016 (as amended), applications are called from persons with previous experience in:-
- fact finding or investigation
- human rights law
- international humanitarian law
