Eknaligoda case adjourned again for want of two more judges

The long-running case over journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda’s abduction and disappearance, was adjourned until 05 Decembe by the Colombo High Court’s Special Bench, presided over by Judge Sujeewa Nishshanka yesterday.
The case has been filed by the Attorney General against nine military intelligence officers, including Colonel Shami Arjun Kumararatne, former commanding officer of the Giritale Army Camp.
The court had requested the appointment of two additional judges to fill vacancies on the bench for the trial.
